Sorry for the Gap
So we were in Canadia for a bit. And my blogger tool on iPhone doesn't work anymore. Buy here's what we have been up to lately. We picked up hairball in Bellingham and then we departed for Vancouver BC. We got to chill in the city for a long while. When the group split up I got to see the aquarium and I would say that's about it. The rest of the guys went to the island with josh's friend jill. They apparently had a great time. On the way out of BC through customs a couple of us were wasted and it was just really apparent but the authorities didn't seem to care as long as the drive was sober (me). Look at me being all responsible and shit. There was even a bucket of puke in the back of the bus because bumpiness and alcohol don't really go well together. Lol I won't bother to point out who it was. But it was one of the girls. That night we drove straight to Portland to drop off kevin for his interview in sanfran. The birthplace of mod children and hipsters I suppose. Well at least there's a ton of skinny jeans around there. We then decided we would go to josh's friends camp on Idaho, but when we got there the bridge was out at the hot spring we wanted to go to so we decided to leave and now we are like half an hour outside of arches national park. It's been a shit ton of driving and I can't fucking wait to get off the bus. Oh yeah we now have a bus pet. It's a snake we found at a rest stop in Idaho name Rest Stop. I didn't pick the name. It's not poisonous but it has already got out once so that was funny. Anyways I hope to put up some pictures soon but we don't want to waste anytime not seeing cool shit. We are kinda running out of time and that's pretty depressing. Anyways. Peace up, Atown down.

Seattle
We are currently in Seattle. We had a massive dive yesterday all across Montana, Idaho, and most of Washington. This morning we woke up near the Columbia river, went for a swim, skimboarded, threw some frisbee and ate breakfast. We drove into Seattle and saw Pikes Place Market, ate at Ivar's seafood place on the waterfront, and drank at a few local bars. I have personally fallen in love with Seattle. Currently, we are headed to Orcas island, where Jenny is hosting us for a few days. Hopefully we will do some kayaking, hiking, and climbing. Sleep well tonight all you party people, you are missed.

Massive Attack of Pictures
So we all finally decided to stop outside of Teton National Park at a coffee shop and upload some pics... well we actually didnt decide that. kevin has a phone interview and we were scared that there might not be phone service in the park. It's been a crazy time so far. Double click the slideshow to view in a larger window.
Rocky Mountain
So me and Jenny split off for this part of the trip when we went to try and climb up some of the taller peaks in colorado. it was called mt. democrat. it sucked ass for me. well seems like the other kids really liked the park, they got to hike in the snow and see a lot of things. apparently these alpine lakes were pristine. i'll let rach or someone else detail it later.
Olympic Training Village
USA!USA!USA!
El Dorado
We had a dirty nasty time here in El Dorado. we got to climb up like 2 peaks. it's right outside of Boulder. it was just a huge boulder field that eventually ended up to be a taller cliff.
Denver Night Out
So this was our first night in an actual city. we got to park to the bus in the middle of this lot right by coors field. we got wasty face.
Roxborough
kinda lame. except that we got to leave the trail and see that nicer peaks. it was softer stone so we werent supposed to, but we did anyway. oops
Garden Of The Gods

Altitude Sickness
This was my trip with Jenny and her friend Grant. these guys were pretty badass climbers and i had never been in that high of altitude ever, in my life. so it sucked anoose for me. i spent pretty much all of the day with a huge headache. i dont really want to explain.

Garden of the gods
Reporting from Colorado Springs. We just experienced THE garden of the gods, beautiful rock formations that we illegally climbed :) We are looking for someplace beautiful to spend the night and then Denver tomorrow. The bus is doing great and she wishes all of you were here with us.
John Martin Reservoir State Park
We are currently heading out from John Martim State Park where we spent the night in the bus. After a breakfast of banana pancakes(flipped using a paper plate due to lack of spatula) we went swimming in the reservoir. The water was chilly, but so refreshing. Josh taught me how to do a back flip off a rock. The scenery was beautiful. Colorful sandstone banks surrounded what is some of the clearest water I have seen in a long time. I feel pretty clean now. I believe our next stop is Colorado Springs, which is two to three bus hours away. Peace yall

Colorado
MARK IT. 10:58 we entered colorado. 20 min before that we all rode a dinosaur. Let the games begin
Front Bus
So we left in three rows of seats on the left side. And on the right side we turned a seat around, took the middle seat out and then I built a table using 3/4in plywood and 2x4's. The ladies picked out the paint for the beds and table. Diego hooked up his laptop so that people can play nintendo games. It keeps us amused. I beat josh in NBA Jam so much it's embarassing for him. It's also claire's first time driving the bus. We are currently on a state road in Oklahoma. Somewhere in the pan handle west of Enid. I've been seeing nothing bus fields and cows for the past day. The weather just cleared up and we're looking for a state park to stop and and have a late lunch dinner thing. Maybe spend the night. Keep it real homies and check out the videos on the right column! Much love.

Colorado here we come
So I can only upload one picture at a time but this one gives a pretty good view from the front looking back. There are two sets of bunk beds that me, jensen and fogs built. Then there is a shelf that was rigged up the day before we left. We got butane stoves, curtains and a grill.
Wanna thank Mr. Gabe and his family for hosting us last night. The food and everything was amazing! Thanks!
Middle of OK.
We are currently heading west on OK 412 after a wonderful stop at Gabe's house in Enid, OK (which is ALWAYS the answe when a crossword asks you for a four letter city in Oklahoma). We had delicious burgers, awesome German potato salad and miller lite, yumm. We got a great nights (air conditioned) sleep, showers, and BOMB ass biscuits at this little diner Gabe took us too this morning. We are four bus hours away from Colorado, but we hope to stop to grill some dinner near this lake about 2 hours away. We eagerly await Jenny and Kevin's arrival. Jeff finally let the girls drive the bus, so claire is driving now. I am wearing an elf hat.

Depature time 4:00pm
"I'm on a boat,
You're on a bus!"
- Karsten
So we had some first day woes. Apparently our gas gauge doesn't properly display the correct amount of gas. So I thought I had a quarter tank but it was empty. Found that out in the Harvey tunnel. So we are now only about 3 hours behind. But our original departure was tomorrow morning. So net gain = 16 hours. Holla!!!

Who knows how to drive this thing?
Hah, so the simple task of picking people up for our departure tomorrow just got a bit complicated... i'm pretty sure i wont be able to fit a bus down Maple Street or even attempt a U-turn on Carrollton or St. Chuck. This should be really fun(ny)... so tomorrow we're gettin an oil change and then the wheels on the bus go round and round will be sung until we get to Vancouver. I'll be sure to try and choreograph some kind of dance with tons of finger and hand movements during the ride up, so people can have a video to go with the song. or we might rewrite it and make it more "urban", drop it on top of 808 beat.
i'll put up some completed pics of the bus if i got the time tomorrow. it looks super fly after the ladies (Claire y Rachel) painted the bunks, shelves, and table. i told rach she couldnt hippy my bus though. peace

new arrival
Just picked up Claire, the newest addition to the crewe de bus. We are about to chow down at R&Os; Claire is about to try hushpuppies for the first time. Then hit up Will's BBQ; then work on the bus some more. Yesterday we put up curtains. The inside looks great. Also, Jeff is feeling particularly good this morning.
